Unfortunately, at present this very aspect is being neglected. Cauvery Sannidhi for Indian culture has a vision and commitment to provide these opportunities for overall development.

Cauvery Kanya Gurukulam- a learning centre for girls is tailored to facilitate over all blossoming of an individual along with nourishing the Sanskrit Language and the Indian ancient scriptures. 

In India the family forms the core of social life. The Mother occupies the pivotal position. It is the Mother who moulds, the child in the formative years. She is considered the First Teacher of the child. When the mother fulfils this role in every family, the child invariably acquires the education based on spirituality and a firm foundation for life. Further, every girl is a potential mother. Hence, she becomes the link to take this knowledge to the next generation by default.

At Cauvery Kanya Gurukulam our aim is to make the girl student blossom into an ideal woman - patriotic, service oriented and devoted towards society. We believe that only she can help shape the ideal society of the future. 

Here education is based on spirituality in keeping with the ancient Indian Gurukulam system along with modern university degrees 

To provide education and a platform for emotional growth and values which are essential for one's growth and good exposure to the scriptures thus ensuring a healthy family and society.

What is Cauvery Kanya Gurukulam ?
Cauvery Kanya Gurukulam ( A spiritually based 5 year free residential degree programme center exclusively for 10th passed girls) is a non-profitable organization focused on ancient scriptures with modern degree. 
(For 5 Years Education, Food, Accomodation, are Free for the Girls - NO FEES ARE CHARGED)
What we teach :
The learning programme is designed as a 5 year residential course. 
One can do 2 years of PU in Commerce and 
3 yrs Bachelors Degree in Commerce with Mysore University, during which time they are given full exposure to study and master the basic indian scriptures.
PUC Arts / Commerce - 2 yrs 
B.A/ B.com -3 yrs 
Spoken Sanskrit & English
Upanishads
Bhagavad-Gita
Learning Values
Brahma Sutras
Vedic Chanting
Yoga , Meditation & Pranayama
Music/ Bhajans etc.
All this is given in gurukula system of education

We are trying to meet the enormous demand for well-trained and qualified persons to teach our Ancient  Indian Scriptural Knowledge using the synergy with our Ancient Scriptures by taking the best of West & East.                                                                                                                                         Our vision is to scale up rapidly the number of trained girl studets, and to allow continued emphasis on Upanishad  exclusively to college going teenage girls (future potential mothers) who would act as a link to take this ancient knowledge to the next generation.

“ Every girl is a potential mother ” it is also said if we educate a girl, we educate a family and then a whole nation. If this ancient knowledge is given to her, she becomes a link to take it to the next generation by carrying the said scriptural wisdom to the next generation effortlessly.

At CAUVERY KANYA GURUKULAM our aim is to make the girl student blossom into an ideal woman who is patriotic, service oriented and devoted towards society.

Cauvery Kanya Gurukulam is open to any girl student who has passed 10^th standard and has interest in Sanskrit language and Indian scriptures.

Students are selected on their 10^th Std. results  and  their interest in our Indian scriptures , they are then evaluated by a panel of experts.
